No advice. No prescriptions. No manipulation.
No ads. No sponsors.
How It Started
For nearly twenty years, I worked as a product manager at startups and Fortune 500 companies, building products designed to capture attention and convert customers.
I studied the behavioral techniques that make people watch longer, scroll further, and spend more. I know how the loops work—and how powerful they are.
Over time, I began to see the cost. Even understanding these systems as an insider, I found myself caught in them. I'd pick up my phone "for a minute" and lose an hour. I wasn't in control of my time anymore.
At 47, I weighed 255 pounds and was one point away from a diabetes diagnosis. I kept hitting snooze, skipping workouts, and promising myself I'd do better tomorrow.

I had spent decades helping technology shape human behavior. Now I needed to use that same science to reshape my own.
Then I discovered the work of behavioral scientist Hal Hershfield, who showed that vividly connecting with your future self strengthens long-term decision-making.
That sparked an idea: What if I could redirect the same behavioral principles I'd mastered—not to capture attention, but to return it?
So I built a prototype. I aged a photo of myself twenty years and gave that future version a phone number. Every morning, he'd text me—short reminders and reflections from my older self.

The Morning Everything Changed
My traditional alarm had always been just noise—disconnected from purpose, startling me awake with no "why." Just sound.
This was different.
Before I was fully awake, before my hand could reach for social media, before the algorithms had their chance, the first thing I experienced was a text message from my future self.
It arrived the same way messages from real people in my life arrive.
When my instinct was to hit snooze, I realized something profound:
I wasn't just dismissing an alarm clock. I was ignoring a person.
I was rejecting my future self—and all the potential he embodied. By hitting snooze, I would be telling him directly: "You don't matter. Your health doesn't matter. The life you want doesn't matter."
My first conscious thought each morning changed from "make the noise stop" to "should I ignore the message from my future self?"
That shift—from mechanical alarm to human connection—unlocked something willpower never could. It wasn't discipline. It was relationship. Accountability.
I got up.

Building Consistency That Lasts
Over time, those daily messages created something I'd never been able to sustain before: consistency.
The same behavioral techniques I'd once used in commercial products—feedback loops, strategic timing, visible progress—now served a different purpose. Not to manipulate, but to empower.
I started waking up on time. I built small, reliable habits. I lost 50 pounds—and two years later, I'm still down.
More importantly, I'd proven these techniques could be redirected away from capturing attention toward reclaiming it.
When you solve your own problem, you realize others are struggling with it too.
Tomorrow You started as my personal experiment. Two years later, I still rely on it every morning—and now I'm sharing it with anyone ready to reclaim their attention the same way.

Our Guiding Beliefs
Built on science. Driven by accountability. Guided by ethics.
We created Tomorrow You to make the world’s best research on behavior change practical and personal.
Principle | What It Means |
|---|---|
Behavior Change Through Evidence | We translate decades of behavioral research into small, repeatable daily actions that strengthen self-discipline and follow-through. |
Autonomy Over Advice | We never tell you what to do. You define your goals and schedules. Tomorrow You is strictly non-directive and Socratic: it reflects, asks open questions, and reminds you at the times you chose. |
Alignment of Interests | No ads, no sponsors, no data brokers. Our incentives are aligned with your long-term progress — not your time-on-screen. |
Privacy by Design | We collect only what’s needed for reminders, a daily question, and weekly summaries; your content isn’t sold or used for marketing. |
From Knowing to Doing
We live in a time when knowledge has never been more abundant.
The challenge isn’t knowing what to do. It’s doing it.
Tomorrow You exists to close that gap.
We use proven principles like reflection, consistency, and accountability to help you act on what you already know.
You set the direction. We help you stay the course.
Tomorrow You doesn’t tell you what to do — it simply helps you follow through on the goals you’ve chosen for yourself.
Because in an age of endless information, the real advantage isn’t access — it’s follow-through.
Why Tomorrow You Is Different
Most technology today faces a conflict of interest.
Companies with a duty to shareholders must maximize engagement.
Tomorrow You was built to be the opposite.
The Status Quo | Tomorrow You |
|---|---|
Built for engagement | Built for follow-through |
Sells user data | Protects privacy |
Optimizes screen time | Protects your time |
Serves shareholders | Serves your future self |
We’ve built Tomorrow You so that our mission isn’t just words — it’s written into how the company operates: protecting your time, encouraging growth, and designing as if your future self were in charge.
Looking Forward
We believe in a future where technology helps people live intentionally — where reflection and consistency come first, not engagement.
Tomorrow You is our contribution to that future: a platform built from research, guided by ethics, and designed around human autonomy.
The future self you imagine today will be the person living the consequences tomorrow.
Our mission is to help you keep that promise.
