Are my journal entries private?

journals

Absolutely. Your journal entries are protected by multiple layers of security:

Encryption:

All journal content is encrypted using military-grade AES-256-GCM encryption before being stored in our database

Data is also encrypted at rest at the infrastructure level through our secure database provider

All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.2+ (HTTPS)

Access Controls:

Only you can access your journals through your authenticated account

Each journal entry is strictly tied to your customer ID

Our staff cannot decrypt or read your journal entries

Email Reply Privacy:

When you reply to daily prompts via email, your reply is securely fetched through Google's OAuth-authenticated API

Your email content is immediately encrypted using the same AES-256-GCM encryption as direct journal entries

Email replies are processed automatically and encrypted before storage

How We Use Your Journals:

We never read your journals for any purpose other than generating your personalized AI insights and reflections. This processing is:

Fully automated

Purpose-limited to your requested features (reflections, weekly reviews, etc.)

Never used for marketing, analytics, or any other purpose

Never shared with third parties

Your thoughts remain completely private and secure.
