When you create a reminder, you choose the schedule and optional check-ins. The AI then generates three types of personalized messages: 1) Reminder prompts sent at your scheduled time (e.g., "Time for your morning run"), 2) Check-in questions sent later asking if you completed it (e.g., "Did you get your workout in today?"), and 3) Acknowledgement responses that celebrate your successes or offer support. The AI uses your reminder history to avoid repetition, match your communication style, and reference your success patterns—like celebrating when you're on a 4-day streak. If you enable check-ins, you'll also get stats showing your current streak, success rate, and calendar view. The more you interact, the more the AI learns what messages work best for you.
