These updates are queued as tasks that typically process within seconds to a few minutes. Your dashboard displays stats from the database, so you may need to refresh your browser to see the latest updates. For Daily Question responses and check-in stats specifically, unanswered counts update at the end of your day (in your timezone) to give you time to respond throughout the day.
